Last weekend was my friends birthday weekend, so we were feeling adventurous and we wanted to try new things, especially in regards to food. WE LOVE FOOD. Every time wed go to Seoul we always ate at the same restaurants. Since change is always a good idea we decided to go to Mitotero, which is a new Mexican restaurant that just opened in Hongdae and boy it was nothing short of amazing. The restaurant has only been open for 2 months and a few days. I am very big on customer service especially at a restaurant and this restaurant surpassed my exceptions.

We have also been to Vatos Urban Tacos, which is located in Itaewon (also a part of Seoul) and honestly the food is good, but the service is horrible. The few times we did go to this restaurant they always forgot something and the waiter and waitresses had horrible customer service. You are suppose to engage with your customers and not look angry or annoyed to be at work.

When we first walked in it was empty so I said, "guys there is no one here" and the guy said dont worry we have good food or something along those lines. We later on found out that he was the owner of the restaurant.  If you ever come to Seoul please pay a visit to this restaurant......thank me later. Never judge a book by its cover and I am so glad we ended up staying because the money we paid, which was not bad at all was WELL WORTH IT. They say first impressions are everything and this restaurant motto should be that, because we will be sure to visit every time we go up to Seoul.

The story behind this restaurant is also a very inspiring one. Hyo Kim the owner of the restaurant went to school in the United States of America, I believe it was in New Jersey. When he finished school he went to the taco places all around New York and some other places in the States to learn and study the different taco dishes. Upon his arrival to Korea he decided to put everything he learned into action and opened this restaurant and after our experience last weekend I am beyond happy he followed his dreams. This restaurant for sure will be around for a very long time, if they continue to deliver their amazing customer service and serve AMAZING FOOD.

After you shop until you drop and you feeling hungry stop by this restaurant and end your shopping day with some delicious Mexican cuisine.
